Security Sensor LLC Begins Field Testing of Palgiken Microwave Sensors in Harsh Tropical Conditions Security Sensor LLC has launched full-scale field tests of microwave sensors from the Japanese manufacturer Palgiken at our testing range in Florida. After completing initial tripod-based evaluations, our team is now installing the sensors along real perimeter lines to study their performance in hot, humid, and weather‑intense environments. From Tripod Tests to Real Perimeter Deployment During the preliminary stage, our engineers tested Palgiken microwave barriers on mobile tripods to assess signal stability, sensitivity, and resistance to false alarms. These tests confirmed the reliability of the equipment and allowed us to move forward with field installation. Testing in Tropical Climate Florida’s climate provides ideal conditions for stress‑testing perimeter security systems: high temperatures exceeding 35°C (95°F) frequent tropical downpours rapid humidity changes strong winds and direct sunlight The sensors are being evaluated for stability, environmental resilience, and consistent detection performance under these demanding conditions. Purpose of the Testing Program The goal is to gather real‑world data that will help optimize installation guidelines, fine‑tune sensitivity settings, and prepare technical recommendations for future clients. These results will support the deployment of Palgiken microwave sensors across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure site
